Events in 2019 by BGlug

Events' collage of 2019

The year opened with the now traditional Linux Winter Day at the IC “Gioele Solari” in Albino and continued with the events of May, June and July:

Ansible Automation with Simone Tiraboschi who dealt with automation, one of the pillars of a modern and efficient IT environment: with current technologies it is possible to automate, with great simplicity, different functions and technologies: network, storage, OS and updates, cloud, containers, security, compliance and monitoring.

Open your virtual environment with Proxmox VE with Fabio Fusili who told us about the Proxmox VE virtualization environment, an open source alternative to VMware vSphere, Microsoft’s Hyper-V, Citrix Xen Server and Red Hat O-Virt.

Creation of static sites with JAMstack with Daniele Barcella who introduced those present to the open-source framework GatsbyJS and other useful tools for creating static and fast websites.

3D modeling with OpenSCAD with Omar Lazzari who showed how to do parametric 3D modeling to those who don’t want to learn CAD. OpenSCAD is the programming language used to model, among other things, the parts of the first DIY 3D printers.

The year ended with the classic national Linux Day event.

See you next year, don’t miss it!!!
